Tia Delong is an Administrative Officer (AO) for the San Francisco VA Health Care System’s (SFVAHCS) Clearlake Clinic. Tia oversees management and administrative responsibilities for day to day operations throughout the clinic. Tia started her administrative career in the private healthcare sector. In 2012 an opportunity came for her when SFVAHCS established the Clearlake VA clinic. Tia started her VA career as a Medical Support Assistant, supporting our Veterans in a variety of ways: Checking Veterans in and out of appointments, answering Veterans calls when looking for help and working with Doctors and Nurses to make our Veterans healthcare experience supportive. Tia’s passion for the VA mission and her father, a Marine Veteran inspired her to choose a VA career path. “I enjoy working in our Clearlake Clinic with all of our staff as we are so much a part of the community we serve,” said Tia
