Laura Flink, MD, MS, works at the San Francisco VA Medical Center in our Cardiology Department. Dr. Flink also manages the Women’s Cardiac Clinic, a specialty service within our Women’s Health Clinic. Dr. Flink started her career with SFVAMC in 2016. While attending UC San Francisco School of Medicine from 2004 -2009, Dr. Flink trained at SFVAMC. Upon completion of medical school, Dr. Flink attended Columbia University Internal Medicine from 2009 – 2012 where she completed her residency. Following her residency, Dr. Flink attended New York University School of Medicine from 2013 – 2016, completing her Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship with the Manhattan VA Medical Center.

“What drew me to the VA was how integrated the health care system is and the ability to provide Veterans with world class health care services,” said Dr. Flink.  “During my Cardiovascular Fellowship, Steven P. Sedis, MD, Chief of the Cardiology at the Manhattan VA Medical Center, was a mentor and a significant influence on my career with the VA. He loved his career working with Veterans and advocated for Veterans health. I truly feel the VA is a wonderful place to work, and a place I can make an impact on our Veterans’ health.”

Thank you, Dr. Flink, for your dedication, teamwork, and passion for serving our nation’s Veterans.
