Wellness Program

About the Program

Wellness reflects a healthy balance of the mind-body and spirit that can result in an overall feeling of well-being. The San Francisco VA Medical Center is committed to fostering wellness values and provides opportunities for both staff and veterans to develop a wellness focus.

A wide variety of activities and programs are available to help each of us to use and develop our skills and energy for improved health and well-being. Some of these include:

All organization events are encouraged to promote the principles and concepts of wellness with fresh, wholesome foods, moderate in fat and sodium, high in nutrients and fiber with an emphasis on a plant-based diet.
