We offer several fast, easy and convenient ways for patients to refill their prescriptions:
Call the VA Autophone (Automated Telephone Refill System): Toll-free 800-847-3203, or 415-750-2233. Patients may order prescription refills or check on the status of prescriptions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Refill prescriptions online at My HealtheVet. (You will need a user ID and password to log in. If you do not have one, you can easily get one by creating your personal profile).

Some patients may be responsible for a co-payment for medication. The determination for payment will be based upon your current established eligibility and service connection. If you have any questions about eligibility and copayments, you may call the VA Health Resource Center at 866-347-2353.

If you have questions about your prescription medications, please call the VA Autophone toll-free at 800-847-3203, or 415-750-2233. A pharmacy staff member can answer your questions and provide advice about your medications, possible side effects and drug interactions.
VA Autophone is available 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.
Outpatient Pharmacy Services are available Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Our Pharmacy service cannot issue medications or supplies prescribed by private physicians. We fill only those written by San Francisco VA Medical Center or authorized fee-basis physicians.
