Transportation
The San Francisco VA Medical Center offers several transportation options for eligible veterans and employees. These services operate Monday - Friday.
- The Volunteer Tranport Network makes ONE run per day to the VA Medical Center from their point of origin. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED. Shuttles depart from Lake County, Santa Rosa, Fort Bragg and Ukiah. Learn more.
- This is a free shuttle/bus service from the Golden Gate Bridge and various transportation hubs in San Francisco. It operates from 5 - 9 a.m. and 2:40 - 6:30 p.m. This service is for patients, employees and volunteers and you must show a valid ID card (VA, volunteer, UCSF, NCIRE, Veteran). Learn more.
- This service operates between the Clearlake VA Clinic and several locations in Lake County. The shuttle runs Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Learn more.
- This service operates between the Medoncino County SS Office and the Ukiah VA Clinic. The shuttle runs Monday and Wednesday. Learn more
UCSF Shuttle (operated by San Francisco VA Medical Center)
- This shuttle runs from 6:35 a.m. to 5:05 p.m. It departs every 35 minutes from the SFVAMC, in front of Bldg. 203. It departs from UCSF at 5 minutes after the hour from 505 Parnassus/ Emergency Room parking lot. For questions about the SFVAMC Shuttle, please call (415) 221-4810 x2450.
UCSF Shuttle (operated by UCSF Transportation Service)
- This shuttle runs between 6:50 - 9 a.m. and 4:30 - 7 p.m. The shuttle stops in front of Bldg. 203 and at 505 Parnassus/Emergency Room parking lot at UCSF.
