Bauer's Transportation Shuttle

Bauer's Transporation now operates between the Medical Center and the Golden Gate Bridge and major transportation hubs in the city.  This service is free for employees and patients of the Medical Center. To gain access, you must show a valid ID card (VA, volunteer, UCSF, NCIRE, or Veterans ID card). Download a copy of the schedule here.

To enroll for shuttle alerts, send an email to: va-shuttle@bauersit.com. You can also call the VA shuttle hotline at 855-274-2977 for up to date alerts regarding the shuttle service. To contact a SFVAMC point of contact regarding this shuttle call (415) 221-4810 x3399.

This service operates Monday - Friday. It will not operate during Federal Holidays. Times may vary due to traffic and other uncontrollable issues.

Transbay Terminal: Beale Street bus stop, between Howard & Folsom next to the Charles Schwab Building.

Caltrain: 4th Street and Townsend Street.

Civic Center: 8th Street and Market Street.

Golden Gate: Parking lot off of Merchant Road.
